Job Description Advantest R&D China Center is seeking a Software Test Engineer who will be responsible for software automated testing for our 93K products. This includes providing special analysis required for initial software testing, quality assurance, and regression testing. The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet customer and management requirements, as well as Advantest’s quality standards.
Responsibilities -Support software test manager to create the test automation strategy in the projects -Develops new or maintains existing test automation frameworks for all applications that automation currently supports. -Investigate, evaluate, and recommend tools for automating the test efforts of the software -Be able to realize the test automation with development of software -Works together with test team members to improve the test automation coverage -Develop or build some tools for testing efficiency improvement Requirements -Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field -Minimum 3 years software engineering experience in software testing, test automation, or software development -A mature understanding of software testing principles and methodologies -Good programming skills in C++ or Java -Experience with Python, Shell, JavaScript or other scripting languages -Ability to automate test cases using automation tools such as QTP/Selenium/QFT required -Good problem-solving, analytical, technical and troubleshooting skills -Good written and verbal communication skills in English -Be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred -Experience in Eclipse IDE Plug-in development -Experience Continuous Integration environments using Jenkins -Good understanding of ICs / electronic measurement technology
