Technical Specifications Prepare the technical specifications of equipment and process for the hot phase. Equipment and Data Networks Provide information and requirements to teams and suppliers in the upstream plant, recommending intelligent sensors, drives, equipment and data networks configuration, layout, and features. Organize meetings on general equipment, hardware and software (Operating system and application) selection based on process design input; supervise the installation, debugging and commissioning of sensors, equipment and data networks; check and confirm devices, networks and software are in normal service status. Automation ?Guide the automation teams during all the project phase, including concept design, technical specification for RFQ, basic and detailed engineering, erection, factory tests, commissioning, and plant ramp up. ?Guide the automation teams during the preparation of SOP; Ensure the performance and efficiency of hot strip mill concerning the objectives and best practices; Ensure that procedures are well known, understood, respected, and improved as necessary; Identify and provide solutions for any procedural issues; Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action. Assist in compiling steel making & hot rolling processes. ?Provide technical support to the operations to define and optimize operational procedures; Identify and implement value creation opportunities and process improvement projects; Compile and update FEMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis). Conduct inspections and spot checks on equipment; record risks and take charge of rectification & optimization processes. AM Standards Coach the local team on ArcelorMittal technology regulations; Coach the local team to reach ArcelorMittal’s production standards.
